Parental Involvement and PFTA

Parents, Friends and Teachers Association

You are welcomed and invited to join our dedicated Parents, Friends and Teachers Association.

The PFTA arranges and supports fund-raising events such as school discos, seasonal celebrations, quiz nights, fetes and a number of sponsored local events too. These vital fund raising events provide and enable enhancements to your child’s learning and support during their time at Burgh Primary.

Every year the PFTA is given a fundraising TARGET – this could be a long term goal to raise money for a large enrichment project or in contrast, a simple low budget project that can support children’s immediate learning requirements. The PFTA provides a liaison between the school and the parents through engaging social events and open communication.

We are always highly appreciative of all support received – so if you are able to help in anyway please contact the school, speak to your class rep, let your teacher know, email PFTA, send a message via Facebook and let us know how and when you are able to support. We love hearing ideas on how we can raise money, organise social events and improve communication.
